Penge Partners was formed in 2007 to manage the ever-increasing number of events falling outside the scope and remit of Penge Festival. We are a strong group of professional business people who have served the Borough for many years and who share a common commitment to Penge and Anerley. We are able to provide free hands-on management services and advice on Public Liability Insurance requirements to community groups and voluntary organisations.
Our aims are to offer support and coordination to community groups in Penge and Anerley in the organisation of their events; to promote greater understanding, partnership and integration between the diverse communities in Penge; to improve community safety; and to help improve self-sufficiency of community groups so they are better placed to contribute towards the wellbeing of the area.
Penge Partners is the umbrella organisation for the Penge Festival, Penge in Bloom and the Penge Over Sixties' Network. We have representation on many vountary and community organisations, including the newly-formed Penge Town Centre Team, Penge Forum, the Penge & Cator Safer Neighbourhood Panel and the Bromley Safer Neighbourhood Board.
Five of our members are also Trustees of the newly-formed Melvin Hall Community Group whose remit is to run the Melvin Hall Community Centre.
